Moms with the babies have noise more than enough: kids can be very loud and keep being whole day long. Older kids can be very demanding and talkative. Add telephone, TV noise, loud music – even if you not going to the job, by the end of the day you feel exhausted.

Best occasion of one-hour silence practice for moms is a time when babies have a day-nap. Put a child to the stroller and go for a walk. Switch off your mobile phone and get one hour of silent walking. Combination of keeping silence with sporty walking enhance the quality of your rest. Keep silence consciously, observe surroundings,smile and feel how piece and energy comes back to you.
Dynamic meditation for moms during walking
Conscious walking is one of the a yoga practices. The idea is to feel every movement your feet are doing (raising leg, touching the ground,take off the foot etc). As myself I practice fast walking, still I try to be conscious of what I’m doing. It starts from switching off my mobile during the walk, as I consciously dedicate this one hour for myself.For walking, for getting physical load, for silence to rest my mind as well. I consciously feel how my arms are holding the stroller and my legs are making movements.
Meditation is being present in now. Not in past or future. So during the walk meditation is also possible: being present in this particular moment of walking, breathing, even wondering around. I’ve noticed that first 40 minutes of my walk I’m still thinking or remembering. Only after 40th minute my mind calms down and I start just walking and observing without going into deep thoughts. I start smiling just by myself.
After one hour of such conscious walking I feel like I’ve had whole day of quality rest.
