A good workout needs good music!
A walking workout needs even better music: upbeat and uplifting tunes that ultimately make you want to move your feet!
That’s why I’ve compiled a special ‘Weight-Loss Walking Playlist’ of some of my favorite tracks, designed for fast walking that burns fat.
Compiled for fast walking
Here you’ll find a mix of music, from recent chart hits to some of my personal walking faves. But old or new, all of the tracks are designed for fast walking, as these tracks have:
- a very energetic rhythm
- no heavy bass line to drag down your mood (or make you drag your feet)
- upbeat and uplifting songs
That’s the power to put you in a cheerful and energetic mood – how all moms want to feel!
60 minutes’ walking music
There’s approximately one hour’s worth of music here and you should aim to walk for the duration of the playlist, challenging yourself to beat your personal best each time.
I can cover 5 miles in an hour – can you beat me???
We start with one or two moderately-paced songs, and then increase the tempo as walking speed is increased. The last two songs are perfect for cooling down and some light stretching after your workout.

- When walking with your stroller, use only one earphone. That way, you can stay aware of your surroundings while you bop along to your favorite tunes.
- DON’T use earphones while rollerblading – this could end very badly!
